One of our leading clients requires Site Engineers for their high profile Highway Project just north of London. The project itself encompasses a range of new construction, widening, bridge structures, gantries, signage and pavement construction.
The positions require competent setting out Engineers who are experienced with all aspects of site engineering, setting out and managing sub-contractors. There is also an element of engineering paperwork, survey data processing and reports.

The contractor is one of the major players based in the UK. With an annual turnover exceeding £8bn, they undertake projects across the civil engineering spectrum from roads, bridges and earthworks to water, rail and marine.

The project team will be split into 3 teams, 1 looking after the roads, pavements, road markings and street furniture. The second team will be looking after the structures, gantries, bridges and hard widening. The third team will be looking after the Earthworks, drainage and retaining walls. There are requirements for all three teams and hence they are seeking Site Engineers with new build roads, earthworks, drainage, and structures and / or bridges experience.

The ideal candidate will have:
•Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
•Relevant site experience on a large scale civil engineering project is required
•Roads and / or bridges project experience is desirable
•Able to use total stations and / or GPS unaided
•Relevant CSCS card and National Insurance number is critical

An excellent package of between £25k and £29k + package will be offered to the successful candidate.
