£200m + Long term major highway project requires engineers now!!!!!

A new major highway construction project is underway in your area linking Leicester, Nottingham, Newark and Lincoln. Our client is a UK Main Contractor looking to recruit a Design Manager. If you have experience of working on the design of major highway construction projects we want to hear from you.

Reporting to the Project design Director the successful individual will take responsibility for;

•Managing and evaluating the project, reviewing all documentation, understanding the project brief and identifying deliver ables and success factors

•Managing to reduce risk and add value to the project

•Managing the design team, review and agree design programme, deliver ables and cost controls

•Providing advice and guidance on build ability of the proposals to the design and construction teams

•Contributing to and ensuring safe design in accordance with CDM
The successful candidate will have:

•A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent

•Experience in a similar role in the Construction Industry

•Excellent IT skills
