Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Projects
Central London
Salary Excellent + Package + Benefits' including pension, Healthcare, car , phone.

One of our leading clients requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Central London for a £200M + Rail and London Underground Station redevelopment.

The project itself encompasses a range of Heavy Civils, Piling, Reinforced Concrete, Station Refurbishments, Rail Platforms and Bridges

Role and responsibilities

*Management of sub contract accounts including interrogation, procurement, payments, variations and final accounts
*Identifying, raising & pricing of early warnings in line with the change control process
*Monthly cost value reconciliations reports
*Cash flow - monitoring & reforecasting, forecasting & predictability of final costs and weekly forecasting
*Interaction with client
*Manage and advise junior staff accordingly
*Advise and assist the site team to manage costs

The ideal candidate will have

*MSc/BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject
*Preferably qualified to ICES or RICS accreditation
*LUL experience would be desirable
*A comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation
*Should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis
*Must also be experienced in commercial site management including the monthly measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations
*Have excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills
*Good problem solving skills and creative flair
*A PTS and relevant CSCS card
