Job Description
An East London Local Authority is wanting to recruit an Enforcement Officer.
The Enforcement Officer will be required to ensure that developments have permission and that planning requirements are adhered to. You will also have to conduct site visits and have a good knowledge of planning legislation to provide clear guidance to the public.
As the appointed Enforcement Officer you will have a recognised planning qualification or other enforcement related qualification, a sound UK knowledge and experience of working in planning enforcement.
You must be an effective communicator, be able to use tact and initiative and exercise firmness when required.
