Health & Safety Advisor – Nights
Central London
Salary Up to £32K DOE Experience, Qualifications and Location

Our client is one of the UK's largest main contractors working on multiple £100M + civil projects. They now require Health & Safety Advisor with major civil project experience to work on the redevelopment of a major rail station; one of the most significant project currently being undertaken in Central London.

•Promote H&S culture
•H&S planning- Including goal setting, deciding priorities and establishing adequate systems and performance standard. Short and long term smart objective setting.
•Advising on competence of employees and sub contractors
•Day to day implementation and monitoring of system effectiveness
•Investigation of accident, incident and near misses, Reporting & analysis
•Performance reviews and audit of the whole H&S Management System
•Work with Management on matters such as legal and technical standards
•Undertake the development and maintenance of procedures for reporting, investigating, recording and analysing accidents, incidents and near misses
•Develop and maintain procedure to ensure that management get factual picture of how well H&S is being managed
•Benchmark monitoring review and auditing
•Creating and developing OH&S policies for existing & new aspects and ensure they are implemented
•Advise on suitable training for employees and carry out OH&S inductions to new employees
