Plant Hire Controller
Central London
Salary Up to £30K DOE Experience, Qualifications and Location

Our client is one of the UK's largest main contractors working on £200M + civil projects. They now require Plant Hire Controller (Station and Building Works) with major civil project experience to work on the redevelopment of a major rail station; one of the most significant project currently being undertaken in Central London.

Responsibilities:

To act as focal point for the coordination of plant and equipment control.

Control plant and equipment.

Management of plant and equipment tracking system.

To take an active lead in safety and safe working practices, and adhere to safety procedures and policies.

To process all plant and equipment requisitions within the project.

Updating plant and equipment tracking systems to reflect plant and equipment hire status.

Issue weekly plant and equipment status reports to Projects personnel.

Identify and arrange for plant and equipment deliveries to meet schedules.

Identify areas where suitable improvements, innovations and cost solutions can be made; challenging, where appropriate, the existing standards.
