Director of Sustainability - Building Services / Sciences Circa £80K

This award-winning MEP and Sustainability consultancy has grown to over 90 staff and have manged to retain 100% of their staff. Well respected as one of the most influential and innovative consultancies in the last decade; they are looking for a Head of Sustainability for their Oxford office.

Role will involve;

·Championing practical, sustainable, energy efficient design across the company.
·Providing guidance and training to employees on current sustainability policies and regulations affecting building services design and developing a sustainability knowledge management system for the group.
·Managing and developing our team of engineers responsible for certifying designs and buildings in compliance with energy efficiency regulations and sustainability benchmarks.
·Assisting in both concept and detailed design of sustainable solutions.
·Winning business through sustainable design presentations, writing articles for publication, etc.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

·Degree-qualified in Building Services Engineering or a Chartered member of CIBSE or MIET.
·A minimum experience of 10 years in building services engineering, including significant experience in sustainable design, preferably in design consultancies.
·Accredited Low Carbon Consultant.
·Excellent commercial and entrepreneurial awareness, able to identify and develop new markets
·Expert technical knowledge in sustainable technologies relevant to building services design, as well as being capable of incorporating those technologies into practice.
·IES modelling skills and BREEAM or LEED certifications.
