Job Description

We are a family run, small, food based pub with 3 letting rooms and we need one person to help us up to and beyond Christmas. You must be able to work as part of a very small team and be flexible as to your duties and rosta. the job entails a bit of everything; order taking, waiting table, bar, some basic food preperation, washing up and cleaning in the bar and guest accommodation.

You will have to be self motivated and hard working as we get very busy at times, but you will certainly need a cheerful outgoing personality for the quieter moments, we have many regular customers and they feel like an extension of our family, they will treat you as one of the family too and will want to get to know you.
You will also take letting room and dining bookings over the phone and need a very good level of spoken and written English. Smart personal appearance is a must, training can be offered in all other areas. In return we are offering a good salary and all in accommodation and all meals with your own en-suite room.

Where are we? 35 miles north of central London, about 20 minutes from Kings Cross, just outside Hitchin (2km) Stevenage (6km), surrounded by lovely countryside but with easy and quick access for London and Cambridge.
