Project Director: An international railway consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Director to join their Birmingham office.

As Project Director you will be required to manage a portfolio of bids and prepare tender proposals. You will direct various exciting rail projects and manage a team of Project Managers. The role involves working with the Development Manager to build client relations and increase bidding opportunities.

Ideally you will have an Engineering Degree and/or Project Management qualification. A proven railways background is essential with previous relevant project management and financial management experience. You must have knowledge of the Railway Consultancy environment along with excellent people management skills and commercial awareness. It is essential that you have excellent client relationship skills. You will have proven experience in tendering and knowledge of local railway clients. It is essential that you are proactive and have knowledge of management techniques and procedures.
