Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineers £40 to £50K + Benefits

This medium sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy are looking for Senior or (HVAC) Mechanical Design Engineers for their Reading office.

They are an award-winning, MEP consultancy that have been established for 25 years and have a healthy order book full of commercial, education, health, residential and retail projects. Boasting one of the lowest staff turnovers in the industry they have now grown to over 30 staff and all the directors still maintain a hands on approach.

Reporting directly into the Project Director(s) role will involve:

·Taking a lead role in design and project management of HVAC services

·Conducting surveys, preparing condition surveys and witness testing

·Managing your own projects from inception from completion

·Providing expert advice on sustainability and low carbon design

·Managing key client relationships

·Being groomed into a Associate over the next 18 months

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be Degree qualified, have the experience with TAS or IES and have at least 10 years experience in a consulting role. Previous experience in Data Centres or mission critical systems and experience of managing design process/budgets would be advantageous.
