Job Description

Qualified Site Engineers required to supervise on-site operations on high profile projects for prestigious contracting company in Saudi Arabia.

Established for over 3 decades the company is one of the premier firms in the region with offices spread across the Kingdom and a reputation for excellence in civil and building construction. They are part of a larger group with huge success across The Middle East and are currently expanding on their already strong portfolio of heavy construction, civil works and operation/maintenance relating to those works.

Working with the support of a team who pride themselves on customer satisfaction and quality of work, you will be responsible for managing the execution of construction plans using the specified resources and equipment, planning and following up day-to-day activities and programs. You will use your professional knowledge in codes, standards, regulations and practices to lead the completion of land clearing, landscaping, building construction, excavation and erection of structural framework.

To be successful you will have a minimum of 10 years construction experience with professional knowledge in materials and equipment, safety/environment standards and the ability to read drawings and follow planning schedules. You will also coordinate and monitor subordinates, inspecting all work processes to ensure high efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be an excellent communicator, cost and quality conscious and a team player with the ability to work decisively under pressure. With your strong communication, interpersonal, coordination, problem solving and technical skills, you will ensure that all operations are adhering to the standard construction methods and procedures, complying with standards and regulations as well as taking all safety precautions

The successful candidate must have a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years construction site experience preferably with some time in Saudi Arabia. The focus of this role is to eliminate wastage in all forms including time, labour, materials and staff especially targeting prevention of rework, making all efforts to get the job right the first time.
