A great opportunity has come available for a Design Director to join a very reputable and established Human Factors company in Europe.

As the Design Director, you must extensive experience of design for the built environment. Ideally, you should have experience in the design of control centres, through the application of architectural, interior design and furniture design and project management expertise. You must be committed to the integration of ergonomics into the design process to improve the working environment and user performance.

You will be responsible for providing leadership and design leads to the team and give a technical overview of all design aspects of projects. Business development will also form part of your role in helping to sell, promote and expand the current portfolio of work.

The new Design Director should come from a building design background and have highly developed visual, formal and aesthetic design skills.

Candidates from an Ergonomic background are preferred due to the nature of the practice.
