This beautiful old pub was built in 1843 and has recently been refurbished in keeping with the period of the building with its wood burners for those cold winter evenings creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We also have 2 large gardens and therefore are very busy during the summer months.
We are currently looking for a couple, 1 for head/second chef position and 1 for a general assistant/assistant manager or kitchen assistant. The front of house applicant must be friendly, outgoing, well presented, have some experience in bar work, be enthusiastic, energetic and efficient in running the food from the kitchen to the 70 seater restaurant.
The chef must be capable of all aspects of kitchen work and kitchen management, work to a high standard and to a five star standard of hygiene.
We are a young friendly happy team and therefore looking for a couple who would enjoy working in a friendly atmosphere.
