Job Description

The Resident Engineer will be required to review material submittals and method statements, supervise the construction works as well as site QA/QC. The Resident Engineer will also be responsible for safety activities and scheduling of the works to ensure compliance with Client specifications and the timely handover for electrical installation work. You will also be required to carry out Inspections on at all stages of construction and supervise concrete testing in compliance with the requirements of the specifications.

All applicants must have proven relevant experience in the installation and commissioning of 400/220kV GIS substations and 33/11kV substations with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should be educated to degree level in civil engineering, preferably chartered and have at least 10 years relevant experience. Previous experience of working in the Middle East will be a distinct advantage.
