Job Description

•The Senior QS will carry out all commercial activities relevant to a Civil Engineering project including: client liaison on commercial and contractual matters, valuations, commercial reporting, pricing compensation events, procuring and managing subcontractors, supervision and training of junior staff.
•Capable of handling all the commercial and contractual aspects of contracts of typically up to the value of £50m
•Able to lead client negotiation on commercial and contractual matters

Requirements
•Candidates will preferably have a BSc Quantity Surveying or the relevant skills
•Experience gained through working within the civil engineering industry as a Quantity Surveyor for a Minimum of 8 years
•Experience of working on Road projects is essential for a Main Contractor
•RICS/ ICES Qualification would be beneficial
•Knowledge and experience of both ICE and NEC conditions of contract
