•Permanent
•47.5 Hrs per week

•Salary: Up to 32K

JOB DESCRIPTION

•Highly proficient in complex ‘setting out' in various types of work
•High knowledge regarding all main constructional tolerances
•Guiding and train junior engineers in methods of ‘setting out'
•Able to use Auto Cad setting out software and manipulate electronic setting out information and download to instruments
•Producing permits to dig
•Producing accurate sketches
•Keeping accurate records and diaries
•Implementation of QA records
•Producing comprehensive method statements
•Capable to producing Site Management Plans and update as work proceeds
•Conversant in methods of temporary works
•Monitoring actual material used against theoretical as a % and knows what % waste would be acceptable on major materials.
•To manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents of the project
•Capable of understanding complicated drawings
•Produce detailed inspection requests
•Assist with labour and plant outputs
•Highlight value engineering solutions and potential engineering risks
•Responsible for working within the BMS, HSQE, CSR guidelines and promote on all projects
•Responsible for accurate material take off and requisition of materials and plant associated with project.

Person Description

•Educated to HND Civil Engineering of Degree Standard
•3 Years Civil Engineering experience with a Main Contractor working on Roads// Highways
•Knowledge of NEC/ ICE Contracts
•Must have UK Driving Licence
