Contracts Manager/ Roads
South East England
Up to £60K + Benefits and Package
A number of established Main Contractors are looking for Contracts Managers to work on high profile, major road projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your already extensive skill base offering the opportunity of long term employment.
Ideal candidate
The suitable applicant will ideally have worked in long term freelance or permanent positions as a Contracts Manager within the Heavy Civil/ Highways Sector.
They will have excellent technical knowledge as well as the ability to remain cool under pressure.
Duties:

Deal with Contracts, Claims/Contractual Correspondence, Sub Contract Agreements, Representation / Negotiations with Client and Consultants. At the same time run and supervise the Site QS personnel in their daily routines
(Monthly Certificates, Variation Orders, Compiling and submitting Site records, Cost checking and links to the Planning Department).
