Traffic Safety Control Officer (TSCO)
Location: Essex
Salary: to £45K DOE + Car + Medical Cover

Our client is a world leader in major civil construction projects. They have been heavily involved in a number of Major Highway Construction, Reconstruction and Maintenance upgrade projects across the UK over the years.

We are now looking for an experienced Traffic Safety Control Officer (TSCO) to join a major project in Essex. The principle purpose of this Traffic Safety Control Officer role will be to ensure the safe operation of the traffic management scheme and vehicle recovery arrangements throughout the project.
We are looking for candidates who have past experience working on major high value highway construction / reconstruction projects in the role of Traffic Safety Control Officer.

You will be experienced in all levels of Traffic Management design and implementation and will possess the following experience
•Sector scheme approval
•Relevant CSCS Card
•CITB apprenticeship
•BETEC, HNC, HND or relevant qualification.
In addition you will be responsible for the supervision of the Deputy TSCO and the Traffic Management team as well as liaising with the Project Manager or Roadworks Agent, Vehicle Recovery subcontractors and local authorities including the Highways Agency.
