Job Description

Qualified Senior Quantity Surveyors required for site work on high profile projects for prestigious contracting company in Saudi Arabia.

They company are part of a larger group with huge success across The Middle East and are currently expanding on their already strong portfolio of heavy construction, civil works and operation/maintenance relating to those works. Established for over 3 decades they are one of the premier firms in the region with offices spread across the Kingdom and a reputation for excellence in civil and building construction.

Working with the support of a team who pride themselves on customer satisfaction and quality of work, you will be responsible for the valuation of works executed, change orders, quantification of costs related to claims and preparation of payment application. You will use your professional knowledge of specifications, general construction practices, new trends in materials and construction practices to prioritise the load and shift attention among changing tasks and priorities.

With a minimum of 8 years previous experience in quantity take-off, you will use your strong planning, organisational and communication skills to evaluate and amend work processes avoiding loss of expenses and delaying of events. You will possess sound and accurate judgement and decision-making ability with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

The successful candidate must have a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related field, or a Diploma with 12 years total experience preferably with some time in Saudi Arabia and MRICS. Professional computer skills required along with knowledge of SMM and FIDIC.
