Qualified Quantity Surveyors required for site work on high profile construction projects for prestigious contracting company in Saudi Arabia.

Established for over 3 decades the company is one of the premier firms in the region with offices spread across the Kingdom and a reputation for excellence in civil and building construction. They are part of a larger group with huge success across The Middle East and are currently expanding on their already strong portfolio of heavy construction, civil works and operation/maintenance relating to those works.

Working under the Quantity Surveying Section Head you will be coordinating and communicating with the design team, tendering department and materials section to provide assistance and resources to ensure construction costs are managed as efficiently as possible. You will have strong communication, planning, organising, analytical and problem solving skills in order to effectively manage different project quantities such as materials, equipment and resources.

Using your minimum of 2 years experience and professional knowledge in construction, quantity surveying and cost planning to prepare quantity schedules, bills of materials, labour and services required in the construction and engineering activities. You will be familiar with preparing estimates, tenders, reports, contract documents, bill of quantities, schedules and feasibility studies and have good knowledge of procurement process, budget control and commercial risk,

You must have a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or any related field and preferably have previous experience in Saudi Arabia. You will be an excellent negotiator with strong attention to detail. The focus of this role is to communicate with all necessary departments to provide correct and timely information ensuring construction proceeds on schedule.
