Job Description

Certification & Accreditation Engineer required to manage a team on high profile projects for a prestigious contracting company in Saudi Arabia.

The company are part of a larger group with huge success across The Middle East and are currently expanding on their already strong portfolio of heavy construction, civil works and operation/maintenance relating to those works. Established for over 3 decades they are one of the premier firms in the region with offices spread across the Kingdom and a reputation for excellence in civil and building construction.

You will be responsible for developing your team's work plan, managing work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow and reviewing work methods and procedures as well as reviewing and evaluating quotations compiled by the Materials team. You will use your professional knowledge of construction practices, specifications, materials, costs, current market trends and contract administration to plan programs that strive to maximise the capability of your section.

With your excellent communication skills and decision-making ability, you will prioritise workloads and change direction as needed between tasks in a clear and concise manner with accurate judgement and direction. You will be confident in conducting meetings and supervising subordinates in the preparation of cost estimates, tender queries and quotations. You will have excellent ability to identify appropriate vendors, subcontractors and prices to be used in the cost estimate, ensuring the cost complies with tender documents.

The successful candidate must have a B.Sc. in Civil or Materials Engineering or a related field and 7 years minimum experience in estimation and procurement within the construction industry with 3 years as a manager. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or The Middle East is strongly desired, as is large-scale project experience.
