Job Description

Qualified Mechanical Engineer required on large-scale projects for prestigious contracting company in Saudi Arabia.

The company are part of a larger group with huge success across The Middle East and are currently expanding on their already strong portfolio of heavy construction, civil works and operation/maintenance relating to those works. Established for over 3 decades they are one of the premier firms in the region with offices spread across the Kingdom and a reputation for excellence in civil and building construction.

You will be inspecting large-scale and high-rise projects to ensure the right implementation of quality standards and procedures is met. You will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with the procurement department for performing quality inspections, and liaise with projects staff for any new changes to specifications. Excellent reporting and technical skills are required to maintain records on all quality checks performed, along with good attention to detail ensuring accurate data and document control.

Professional knowledge is required in testing of materials, cooling piping system, HVAC system, fire-fighting system and plumbing works. With strong analytical skills, you will work in efficient and cost conscious manner performing quality inspection on finished work and making sure that the work is performed according to acceptable standards. You will also inspect warehouses and storage areas to meet set storing standards and conditions.

To be successful you must have a B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering with 10 a minimum of years experience and at least 5 years in high rise or large scale building construction projects. The focus of this role is to be accurate, efficient and quality oriented.
