Job Description

500 year old Inn with accommodation and a very busy food and drink trade. Duties include bar work (experience serving real ales an advantage), waitering, cleaning, washing up, some housekeeping. Kitchen duties include sandwich/salad preparation, fryer and microwave cookery. Experience preferred, but vital that person is quick, practical and can work well under pressure as part of a team. The work is varied so no two days are the same, and the levels of trade vary massively depending upon the weather. Basic pay £6.30 per hour, any hours over 45 per week at time + half so £9.45. Tips are pooled and shared according to the number of hours worked. 28 days holiday per year, pro rata. There is a charge to live-in, which includes all meals, use of laundry, electricity, TV, wi-fi access and council tax. £45 per week in a shared room, £50 per week in a single room. Would suit lovers of the outdoors, not city types.
