This small consultancy in the Norfolk countryside is looking for an Architectural Technician to join their team of four.

With over 15 years experience, this firm specialise in successfully gaining planning applications for clients who have previously had them refused. Their client base is largely from recommendations and repeat business and they have a strong and healthy order book that will already keep them busy for the rest of this year. Their work is based in the agricultural, commercial and residential sectors and is largely based around the East Anglia region although it does spread to outside this area if required.

They are now looking for an Architectural Technician with good building regulations experience and a background in providing planning drawings using AutoCAD. Good site surveying and presentation skills are also essential and the ability to speak to a group of people is also important as a lot of the work is presentations to councils. Applicants should be able to commute to Norfolk on a daily basis and have their own transportation in order to be able to get out to site. In addition to the basic salary there is also a commission incentive for every planning application successfully posted.
