Temporary Works Coordinator

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Our client is a world leader in major civil construction projects. They have been heavily involved in a number of Major Highway Construction, Reconstruction and Maintenance upgrade projects across the UK over the years.

Currently looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to work on a Major Road Project in Essex.

Job Purpose
To ensure that temporary works are managed and used safely, in compliance with company procedure SC-15 and BS5975

Principle Duties & Accountabilities
•To ensure that temporary works are identified planned and used safely
•To ensure that temporary works designs are fully briefed and checked.
•To ensure that the Project Manager is provided with temporary works designs that have been checked.
•To ensure that the temporary works design, as erected, comply with the checked drawings and to issue permits to load and unload as appropriate.
•Liaise with Permanent Works designers to resolve issues of construction method and buildability as necessary
•Adherence to Skanska policies and procedures
•Liaison/co-ordination with site Temporary Works Designers and Checkers
Qualifications and Certificates
•Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
•Ideally progressing to either Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
•Relevant CSCS Card
