This leading consultancy are actively seeking a Business Unit Director to take charge of a Building Surveying Division with this multi disciplined company.

This exciting position is ideal for a proactive Chartered Building Surveyor who has proven relevant experience of the UK / EMEA property and construction market at a Senior level who is likely to be currently working for a Construction Consultancy.

The main job functions and accountability's will include the management and delivery of Clients requirements in a timely, cost effective manner whilst achieving profit maximisation.
You will undertaken technical due diligence services relating to property based transactions including property condition assessments, building services reviews, health and safety audits, costs to complete exercises, construction viability studies, general development appraisals and cost of appraisal reviews.

The type and scale of transactions vary from multi-site hotel portfolios
to private hospitals, primary healthcare surgeries, retail portfolios,
industrial portfolios, commercial business parks and through to
individual property appraisal / development reviews.

You will be responsible for the management of the professional team in all respects including; financial and management reporting, client interface, personal and business development through agreed goals and objectives as part of a
structured management performance and appraisal process.

Ideally you will have a number of years post qualification experience and membership of an appropriate professional organisation, preferably the RICS. Previous relevant management and professional experience at a Senior level and able to manager and further develop a team of 4.
