Crane Appointed Person
Central East London
£20/hr

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Crane Appointed Person / Supervisor to Join their team is Central / East London.

Reporting to the construction manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:-

•Forecasting 6 monthly crane schedules
•Forecasting 6 monthly labour requirements
•Creating fortnightly lift plans
•Compiling and monitoring of all related H&S Documents
•Liaising with suppliers / buyers for the procurement of plant
•Compile lifting plans and creating method statements to be signed off before the commencement of all lifts.
•Daily briefs to all operatives and individual briefs before all lifting operations
•Producing a matrix of all required checks on plant and equipment and agree with HSE manager and Construction Manager
•Ensure all operation comply with LOLLER

In addition to this you will be responsible for the supervision of all banksmen, crane suppliers and supervisors of all sub contractors on site.

Required Qualifications

Cranes Appointed person
Qualified Banksman / Slinger
NVQ Level 3 in site supervision (or equivalent)
SMSTS CITB 5 Day (or equivalent)
CSCS Card (appropriate level and grade)

Benefits

A desirable rate of between £15-20 p/h dependent on experience will be offered to the successful candidate. The role will also give the successful applicant a chance to be part of construction history working on one of the country's most prestigious projects.
