CIVIL ENGINEER (HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE DIVISION) up to £42k+pkg

Major Civil Engineering Contractor operating Highway Maintenance Schemes looking for a Schemes Manager/Site Supervisor

who can work alongside the Schemes Project Manager in the day to day operations and management of schemes.

Previous Highways Maintenance experience with a Main Contractor highly desirable;

The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

Delivery of standard construction paperwork including Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Construction Plans;

Production of works programmes and extensive consultation with subcontractors to ensure delivery of programme dates;

Coordination and liaison with design teams; Organisation of progress meetings with subcontractors,

Ensure schemes are built to the design,

Ensure workforce adhere to H & S and Environmental rules,

Carry out inspections for TM layout of schemes and judge safety aspects;

Communicate with stakeholders, the client - and provide supervision for on-site construction activity;

Skills/Experience needed:
Previous Highways experience highly desired
Understanding of Chapter 8 and Traffic management concepts considered an advantage
CSCS Card

Full Driver Licence
