Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary Up to £45K DOE + Package

Our client is a major player in the civil construction industry specialising in major civil infrastructure projects including highways rail and energy.

We currently have a requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their highway construction project in Nottinghamshire. This is a high value project and will require the successful applicant to have experience of working in a similar role on major civil highway projects in the region of £30M.

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for the management of the QS Team including the direction and mentoring of junior staff.
A pre requisite of this role will be the management and settling of sub contractor accounts and a through knowledge of NEC contracting i addition to the preparation of schedules, analysis of tender documentation and the appraisal of estimates..
