Setting Out Engineer

£18 p/h+ depending on experience

Our client is a main contractor on a civils infrastructure project based in north west London. Our client is looking for a keen setout engineer to assist them on a job based on a complex foundation / piling / civils project which will run for 3 months. The project is due to start in the first week of June.

Responsibilities:
Report directly to Agent.
Set up site survey control, and construction set out.
Carry out survey checks on construction elements as progressing to ensure line and level within specification
Keep progress photos and file against a reference drawing
Reporting Non-Conformances to the Agent
Quality assurance and construction monitoring on site
Adjusting method statements after consulting with the Agent

Requirements:
Competency in setting out
Experienced in all aspects of survey control, survey monitoring, setting out
Involvement in site engineering aspects (paperwork, QA etc) over and above the construction set-out duties.
