Privately owned Building Services Design Consultancy requires a talented HVAC Design Engineer for their Cambridge office.

Our client has successfully built the business to offer national coverage through their 5 offices, employing over 75 staff and building a strong reputation in the M&E Industry. Current and future projects will continue to heavily involve Education (BSF), Health Care ( Procure 21) and Retail (Supermarkets), with an international portfolio of work possible if an overseas base is agreed.

Unlike many of their competitors, this Consulting Engineering practice purposely recruits engineers who like to project manage, enabling one point of contact from initial concept design to completion. This policy they believe promotes good practice with their clients, building relationships and offering the opportunity for repeat business and account management. Detailed design forms a huge amount of their work, attracting talented engineers who want a greater involvement with complex schemes.

To be considered for either role you must be a qualified Building Services Engineer, with Chartered (CIBSE) status desirable but not essential. It is expected that you can demonstrate your understanding of Mechanical/Electrical design through examples of previously completed projects, detailing your personal input as a lead engineer. Any additional qualifications as a LCC, LCEA would be advantageous.
