Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a materials technician to be based on a live construction project on a major London Airport. You will be working for a UK based main contractor that operates internationally. The project involves the construction of Concrete Aprons and Taxiways with associated services.
As Materials Technician you will be responsible for carrying out laboratory based testing in accordance with site requirements and complying with the NAMAS quality system. Other responsibilities will include;
•Maintaining accurate records
•Maintaining a good working environment in the laboratory
•Carry out equipment calibrations and check maintenance of equipment
•Maintaining weather records
Required Experience and training;
•Previous experience in a similar role
•A valid CSCS card
