Job Description
One of Londons most progressive Borough Councils urgently requires a Biodiversity Project Officer. You will play a pivotal role overseeing the development and implementation of the Borough's Biodiversity Action Plan through the collation of baseline data, and production of biological asset recording systems. Additional duties will also include drafting biodiversity policy as part of the Local Development Frameworks, establish steering groups and produce policy observations on Planning applications in relation to their impact on Biodiversity within the borough. Successful candidates will either have practical experience as an Environmental Policy Planner or have a knowledge of producing biodiversity action plans.
