Job Description
Establishing a multidisciplined research team to ensure the long-term development of the company. The team will consist of a number of post doctoral researchers, and PhD students with experience in a variety of fields:
- Crystallisation
- Mathematical Modelling
- Crystalliser design
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
Job Description
The researcher will be part of a team charged with developing and applying the most advanced techniques and technologies needed to enhance the operation of the refinery. He/she will be responsible for developing complex mathematical models and algorithms to optimise particular areas of the operation using whatever are the most appropriate techniques such as:
- Data Mining
- Design of Experiments
- Neural Networks
Qualifications & Experience
The researcher will be a graduate in a numerate discipline with a postgraduate qualification in either:
- Mathematical Modelling
- Statistics
- Operation Research
The person will be self motivated and used to working without direct supervision, good project management and communication skills will be essential. This is an exciting position combining academic research and industrial application as well as being part of and influencing a multidisciplined research team.
