A unique opportunity exists for experienced Electrical Designers to work on a major highways project being undertaken in the North West of England. The project will deliver highways service across the regions motorways and main trunk roads.
In order to deliver against the highest expectations we are looking for experienced Electrical Designers who have worked on large scale highways construction, re construction and maintenance projects concentrating specifically on the Electrical and Lighting functions.

Reporting to the Network Electrical Manager you will have responsibility for the following;

•Development of lighting and electrical highway schemes
•Checking and certifying work in preparation for construction
• Manage and review all relevant documentation with regards to HSE, QA, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and continuous updating of relevant databases
• Mentoring / Coaching of junior designers when required
•When required, involvement in Contract preparation

Requirements

•Full Driving licence.
•Appropriate JIB / ILE accreditation for level of post
•ILE Exterior Lighting Technology Parts 1,2 and 3
•ONC/HNC Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
•Conversant with appropriate design standards BS5489 , CEN13201, IRRRS
