This leading Client Orgainsation is actively looking for a Prinicpal Quantity Surveyor to cover it's Kent, Surrey and Sussex region. You will manage the Capital Investment programme over a five year programme of projects.

The Principal QS will manage a portfolio of projects within prescribed financial margins to the satisfaction of internal and external clients. The project team liaison will include project managers, design mangers, commissioning and delivery teams.

You will manage a team of three surveyors and will report into the Commercial Manager of the division. You must have a solid work history either for a sizeable Construction Company or a PQS firm. Have an excellent understanding of NEC suite of Contracts and JCT. Experience of preparing, valuing and assessing applications for payment and variations. Ability to achieve a high standard of quality and accuracy, with strong reporting skills. Good negotiation, co-ordation and time management skills. Be confident in your ability and communicate clearly with all levels of the business. For this role, you should hold a Bsc in Quantity Surveying with a membership to a Professional Body such as RICS or MCIOB.
