Project Manager – Highways
Midlands Area – Various Locations
£45-55K DOE

We are seeking applications from Project Managers experienced in the delivery of large scale highway maintenance schemes; ideally you have carried out work of this nature with leading main contractors of the Highways Agency previously.

Responsibilities

•Manage fully the delivery of a variety of design and infrastructure highway maintenance projects
•Lead and motivate your team of engineers and design specialists to deliver the project in a cost effective and timely manor
•Take the lead in design issues / review meetings and demonstrate a high level technical knowledge and competence with regard to highway maintenance
•Full P&L responsibilities ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget
•Preparation of contract documentation
•Business development, client liaison and close liaison with local authorities and government bodies where necessary
•Focus heavily on ensuring all HSE objectives are met in accordance with the contract requirements

Candidate Requirements

Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
Chartered status or working towards it would be preferable
Highways Maintenance / Construction experience
