Sous Chef 1 – 2 Rosette Gloucestershire £20,000 + Live In + Tips

Sous Chef required for this popular Town Centre Boutique Hotel to strengthen the team and push on for their 2nd Rosette.

The Town centre Hotel is privately owned and has built up a good following from customers in the local area since opening in 2005 and achieved numerous awards and accolades and is looking to push on for more. So far customer numbers have maintained a constant 40 - 50 per session with weekend trade seeing a slight increase.

The menus are changed regularly and are backed up by daily specials boards that are sometimes changed daily according to what’s in season or what local suppliers bring to your backdoor, The Chefs style is Modern European with Clean Flavours on each plate.

As Sous Chef you should be capable of running each section, your duties will include deputising for the Head Chef, training and motivation of juniors, placing orders, organising the kitchen Completing H&H, COSHH records etc and giving menu input.

This positions also pays ‘tips’ on top of your basic salary which is normally a minimum of £2000 but could be a lot higher, with various benefits including meals on duty, uniforms etc.

There is no staff accommodation with this position but there are several properties to let either in town or nearby in Peterborough or Huntingdon.
