Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to work on one of the largest highway maintenance contract in the Midlands. We are looking for a steward to manage maintenance on the network on a long term basis. Based in the North you will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Supervision of subcontractors and operatives carrying out work on the network
• Updating the programme in accordance with Senior and Are managers requirements
• Reporting of health and safety incidents as per the contract requirements
• Maintaining and ensuring all driver and vehicle records are up to date
• Act as the duty office during Winter maintenance
• Liaise with clients and the Highways Agency

The ideal candidate will have highways maintenance experience, winter maintenance experience, supervision and traffic management experience.

You will possess ideally and Degree, or HND.HNC or equivalent and the appropriate CSCS card.
It is inessential that you possess a full UK driving licence for this role.
