A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer with Highways design experience to join this integrated support services organisation working with clients both in the public and private sector. We are involved in maintenance and traffic engineering projects and support services for roads, rail, education and local authority and are supported by our parent company – one of the largest infrastructure and service organisations in Europe.

The role
To act as the technical lead on the design of traffic engineering solutions for various maintenance schemes as well as mentoring and coaching junior engineers within their given discipline. You will also assist the project manager with the project program preparation as well as various financial estimates.
Ideally you will have worked in a client facing role before as client liaison is a key part of this position.

Candidate requirements
•A degree/ HND in Civil/ Traffic Engineering discipline or equivalent suitable experience.
•Technical expertise in highway infrastructure maintenance and improvement design.
•Understanding of DMRB, TSRGD, Chapter 8, MCHW desirable, and Traffic signal design
