Highways Technicians (roads and structures)

Job Description

We currently require highways and structures technicians who have experience with highways and their related structures design. Our project relates to the ongoing maintenance and upgrade of the UK’s motorway and major trunk routes and motorways around the East Midlands.

Role:
• Interpretation of engineers sketches and drawings
• Preparation highways drawings and plans

Person Specification:
• Previous highways and highway structures drawing experience
• Proven AutoCAD ability
• Numerical skills
• IT literate

Qualifications:
• Recognised CAD Qualification
• GIS Qualification & Experience (not essential)

We are currently undertaking extensive works across the UK to upgrade existing highways infrastructure. This is long a long term project which will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons and expand their skills.
