Candidates are required to hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving previous posts.

The service provided by the TASCC Teams, the multi- disciplinary children in need teams in Essex are currently undergoing review and for this reason the locality manager was moved into a different role. We are looking for a significantly experienced manager within a local authority Children & Families setting to provide professional supervision to each of 5 managers. The supervisor will be asked to meet with each on a monthly basis and provide the opportunity to discuss cases, staffing issues and other professional areas of concern throughout. Additionally it would be beneficial to attend managers’ meeting periodically in order to understand the key messages delivered from senior management to frontline managers during this challenging time. Understanding of issues pertaining to complex family support would be required as would experience of change management. Candidates should be able to offer 10-12 hours per month to this role.

Candidates need to be registered with the General Social Care Council.
