Job Description
Our menu is based around fresh salads, burgers and pastas using fresh seasonal ingredients at lunch times, whilst running BBQs with quality locally sourced meats in the evening. We are based in the city with the majority of our trade being at lunch times, Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend event
You would also be required to write and cost all new menus for all party bookings.
The position would require a good understanding of cost controls, and Gross Profit margins. Be comfortable with ordering and food management. The role would include preparation, serving, ordering and. have a good understanding of how to run a busy kitchen. Needs to be a good team player able to be flexible within a small organisation. This position is ideal for an ambitious hungry chef wanting to put down his/her mark.
The position would require a current Food Hygiene certificate, and have an understanding of how the safer Food, Better Business folder works.
Starting salary £25k with bonuses based on GP and targets.
