Our client is the chef/ proprietor of a renowned multi rosette restaurant with rooms. Enjoying a consistent following in a delightful rural location we seek a commis sommelier to support the sommelier. The commis sommelier will, preferably, have a formal qualification in wine studies though a strong desire to acquire the specialist skills and knowledge are the essential qualities sought. The commis sommelier will serve wines to guests whilst the sommelier is advising diners . The commis sommelier will also assist the food service team with restaurant preparation duties. As a commis sommelier you will therefore need a flexible attitude , demonstrating a willingness to assist the front of house team as required.
