If your desire is to develop your skills and knowledge as a wine waiter this is surely the opening you have been waiting for. As a Commis sommelier you will be joining one of the U.K;s most innovative Michelin Starred dining operations. The Commis sommelier will work alongside a highly talented brigade to deliver first class service to a very discerning clientele. A formal qualification from the WSET is preferable though not essential, as the Commis sommelier will have the benefit and guidance of the head sommelier. As a Commis sommelier you will be required to offer advice to restaurant guests and demonstrate an ability to pair food and wine. The position represents an opportunity to work not only with a Michelin Starred kitchen brigade but to work under the guidance of a talented restaurant manager who has operated at 2 and 3 Michelin star level

This positions also pays ‘tips’ on top of your basic salary which is normally a minimum of £2000 but could be a lot higher with various benefits including meals on duty etc.
