My client one of the country's leading consultants to the built and natural environment require an Associate Planner.

The company employ excess of 1800 people within a diverse geographical spread throughout mainland Britain, Ireland and Europe. The range of Town Planning services you will offer to Clients are as follows:

Preliminary site appraisals, technical analysis of planning issues such as retail impact, the availability of employment or housing land and the interpretation of planning policy, preparation of planning briefs, monitoring development plans, preparation of planning applications and appeals, project co-ordination, negotiations between parties in the development control process, provision of expert evidence at public inquiries, tribunals and court cases,
advertisement applications and appeals, certificates of lawful use or development, enforcement of planning control, listed building and conservation area consent applications, compulsory purchase orders, establishing development potential to assist property valuation, legal disputes and arbitration cases advising on planning aspects, retail studies of town centres and proposals, employment land availability, commercial leisure and tourism studies and the application of IT in planning.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' post qualification (RTPI) experience. Ideally, commercially orientated with a good existing client base.
