A Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer is required for this well established, award winning MEP Consultancy based in central London. Working as part of a team of 30 engineers you will get involved in a selection of high profile projects throughout Central London, such as Offices, Banks, High Rise Residential and Data Centres.

Role will involve;

*Reviewing calculations, specifications and Electrical Building Services Designs

*Carrying out surveys, creating performance specifications, writing reports

*Acting as the interface between the Design team and the contractors

*Resolving issues on site regarding LV distribution, small power, alarms, access control, UPS and lighting

*Liaising with manufacturers regarding equipment selection

*Providing advice on energy use, renewables selection

Individuals should be Degree qualified in Building Services / Electrical Engineering and have at least 8 years experience in a consulting role. Previous experience in reviewing and commenting on working drawings / designs is essential. It is essential that individuals have recent commercial fit-out or data centre experience and understand complex UPS systems and resilient infrastructure.
