If so then this opportunity may be for you. We require Two Highway Engineers to work on a Term Maintenance Contract in Wiltshire.

These assignments include road schemes involving drainage, surfacing, kerbing, widening and junction improvements.

You must be proficient with:-

• Site supervision
• Program monitoring
• Health and Safety checks
• Subcontract procurement
• Works co-ordination
• Liaison with sub-contractors
• Monitoring of Traffic Management to Chapter 8 Spec
• Variations and site measures
• Contract execution under a long Term Highways Maintenance agreement.

Previous UK highways maintenance experience and road project knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.

There is one day shift and one night shift position available with the possibility of more to follow.

Depending on role, hourly rates are between £19.00 and £22/hr, (typically with a car, Min 50 Hrs + uplift for nights). A full driver’s license is required for these positions.
