We are looking to recruit an Area Engineer to run the day to day management of service delivery. This will include the maintenance of the network, winter maintenance and the management of emergency response.

Essential Requirements

• In depth knowledge of the UK Highway Maintenance Industry
• The ability to lead and deliver the contract KPI’s
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• The ability to develop a highly motivated team
• A proven track record of delivering maintenance on high speed roads

Preferred Requirements

• Engineering Qualification (HND / HNC) or equivalent
• NRSWA Supervisor trained preferred
• CITB SMSTS or Equivalent
• CSCS Supervisors or above

Responsibilities

• To monitor and implement Health & Safety procedures for the protection of staff and those affected by the operations.
• To deliver a service that exceeds the standards required by the client
• To deliver a service that has continuous improvement and best value for the client
• To continually improve the standard and safety of the Network
• To effectively manage the winter maintenance to above the HA standards required.
