Job Description

Major Highway upgrade project requires an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager to manage client/contractor interface and advise and coordinate comms networks in a highways environment.
At this level, 10yrs+ experience of advising for/coordinating the installation of comms in a highways environment is desirable.


Site based role;
Essentially the role involves being out on site; looking at proposed plans of comms installations and having the expertise to advise the client/contractors on what solutions will work, where the configurations should be redesigned and being proactive in troubleshooting the layout; and identifying any design obstacles before the program progresses to the stage of installation.

Similar job description to a clerk of works role but skewed towards specialist comms troubleshooting
At this level, candidates can expect to be remunerated circa £300+/shift

The requirement is immediate for a long term contract position.

This role is in a major highways environment with possible scope leading to involvement in several other major highways projects.
